Short version: Saveo does not collect, store, or sell any personal data. We don't know who you are, what you download, or where you're from. This policy exists to be transparent about that.
Saveo is a free, personal-use media downloader available at saveo.pages.dev. It is an independent project, not affiliated with any of the platforms it supports (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, X).
When you paste a link and click Download, your request travels through our Cloudflare Worker backend which contacts a third-party extraction service (Cobalt) to retrieve the media URL. The file is then streamed directly from the source platform's servers to your browser.
We act purely as a proxy. We do not store the media file, the URL you submitted, or any metadata about your download on any server we control.
Saveo relies on the following third parties to function. Each has their own privacy policy:
Saveo stores one item in your browser's localStorage: your theme preference (dark or light mode). This never leaves your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
Saveo does not host any media. All downloaded content remains the intellectual property of its original creators and the respective platforms. Saveo is intended for personal offline use only. Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with applicable copyright laws and platform terms of service.
Saveo does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is nothing to delete or correct regardless of age.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect it. We won't notify you directly since we have no way to contact you — which is by design.
